Aleah Chapin
Artist’s Statement
I am fascinated by the many languages that pigment can speak. Through paint I explore my surroundings and the intrinsic physical quality of things. By investigating exterior textures I hope to delve deeper into the unseen cerebral and psychological substance of the person or object I am painting.
