Artist’s Statement
Technique
Drawing is the beginning of all my paintings. I enjoy translating images from the vision to flat paper.
I begin drawing directly from images, transferring the drawings to watercolor paper allowing flat color patches to describe the areas. I layer the pigments to brighten the intensities.
