Artist’s Statement
Having spent his formative years in southern-Missouri amongst the lush and densely forested hills and scenic riverways, artist Paul A. McClintock has a deep-rooted spiritual connection to his natural surroundings and translates this spirit into his various artistic endeavors.
His natural instinct is to take brush in hand and express this vision into varied mediums, which continually unfold into a diverse aesthetic approach. These styles span from impressionistic representationalism to the allusional abstract.
McClintock’s works and commissions can be found in private and public collections throughout the Midwest, New York, California, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Canada.
